By going up from Carlazzo, after passing through the gorge between Monte Pidaggia and Sasso della Porta, you enter Val Cavargna, one of the main valleys in the surroundings of Porlezza, offering truly breathtaking landscapes.
Val Cavargna, which includes small rustic villages such as Vegna, Cusino, San Bartolomeo, and San Nazzaro, offers numerous hiking opportunities on foot or by mountain bike: the “4 Valleys Trail,” the “Iron Route,” Passo San Lucio, and Pizzo di Gino.
